Shoma Uno reflected on beginning his figure skating journey at five years old and pursuing the sport for 21 years, just like Sakamoto Kaori. He shared his gratitude for a fulfilling athletic career.
He announced that he would hold a press conference next Tuesday, May 14, to discuss his experiences and his plans for the future.
Hailing from Aichi Prefecture in central Japan, Uno was known for attempting challenging jumps early in his career and made a mark in international junior competitions.
